Alyx (Alyssa) Tonsing-Carter, PhD (they/she) is the founder and sole consultant for Regenerative Leadership Strategies, LLC. They are very interested in the development of regenerative conditions within organizations that improve culture and drive results. Starting their career conducting natural products cancer research with a PhD in pharmacology, they followed their interests for data analysis, science policy, process improvement, and improving culture from research, academic research administration, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) science policy (originally as a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow), and then to applying the scientific method to how to inform organizations and improve processes. For the last 4 years, they have been using data analysis, evaluation, organizational development, process improvement, mediation, and change management to improve the learning and inclusion cultures at the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
